McDonald, Mel - Passed away at home on Thursday May 15, 2008 in his 83rd year. Beloved Husband of Mary. Loving father of Gail (Dennis) Penner, Glen (Kate), and Cheryl. Cherished Papa of Melanie, Brent, Ryan, Evan, Andrew and Iain. Brother in law of Jean and Alma. Mel will be fondly remembered by his many family and friends. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday May 16 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held from the George Darte Funeral Chapel on Saturday May 17 at 10 a.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
