Obituary of John MacInnes

MacInnes, John- On Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Hospice Niagara. John passed away, at the age of 61. He will be sadly missed by his wife Dorothy. Cherished father of Kim (Bill) Drysdale, and Kelly (Jason) Stewart. Beloved pop of Christopher, Danielle and Nicole. Dear brother of Shirley (Ron) Theal. Brother in law of Barb and Evelyn McLaren whose unending love and support will always be cherished. John was employed at the St. Lawrence Seaway for 36 years and retired in 2001. He was a long time member of the Grantham Optimist Club and the President of Sunshine Dreams for Kids. At John's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Saturday, May 3 at 1p.m. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
