Obituary of Frank Salitrynskyj

SALITRYNSKYJ, Frank Passed away on April 17, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 91. Much loved husband of Alfreda Bujacz-Salitrynskj. Cherished father of Zenia (Viroslav) Pasternak from Ukraine, devoted grandfather of Ihor (Halyna) Pasternak, and loving uncle of Jadwiga Fedyk from Ukraine. He will also be missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren in Canada and Ukraine. Survived by his step children Jadwiga (the late Ron) Hunter, Janina (Bob) Jones, and Edward, Rick (Cheryl), Jerry (Marie) and Steven (Regina) Bujacz. Also survived by many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Olga (1995). Frank was a lifelong member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church and a retiree from G.M. Frank's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, April 20th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church on Monday, April 21st at 10am. Rite of Committal Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Panachyda will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church Fund or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
