Obituary of Hilda Cairns

CAIRNS, Hilda May ( nee Farnes) Beloved wife of the late Basil (1999). Loving mother of Dianne Rideout, Lynda Lawrence, Brian Cairns, Barbara Chartrand and Paul Cairns. Hilda will be remembered her 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and her great great grandson. Hilda will be sadly missed by her sister Carole Rusk and is predeceased by her siblings Doris Griffiths, Pearl Lumsden, Richard and Jack Farnes. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday April 20, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 21 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart & Stroke foundation would be appreciated by her family.
