Obituary of Aniela Ostaszewicz

Ostaszewicz, Aniela Peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie on Monday April 14, 2008 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Mieczyslaw (1989). Loving mother of Henry (Debbie), Wally (Connie) and the late Edward Ostaszewicz. Cherished Babci of Stephen (Tara), Todd (Louann), Michael (Shannon), Brett Ostaszewicz and Lisa Murray. Aniela will be sadly missed by her great grandchildren Joshua, Lucas, Brandon and Jillian and fondly remembered by her sister Sabina and the late Stanley Baran and family. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all of Aniela's Doctors, Nurses and Caregivers for their kind and compassionate care and support. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, L2M 4Y1 (905-937-4444) on Thursday April 17 from 7-9, and Friday April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 with vigil prayers held at 7:45 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 5 Oblate St., St. Catharines, on Saturday April 19 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or the Heart & Stroke.
