There was no finer boy, than John Livingstone, when I met him for the first time, way back in '62, I think it was. No-one was a better friend. He was honest and honorable. He became an example to all of us. He was funnier than heck, too, and loyal, and kind... and he had a wicked laugh, and a unique way of saying, 'Jeeez!' that always brought a smile. I miss him, and think of him often. Good wishes to Greta, and their children.

To all of John's family... I lived on the North End of Vine street and had the wonderful opportunity to visit with John every day as I walked my 2 small children to and from Prince Phillip. When John moved corners we continued to honk and wave when passing his new corner on Grapeview. He was always cheerful, even on the coldest and wettest days, and ensured my children were safe. I was so saddened when I heard about his passing. I send you strength at this difficult time.

Greta and Family:
We were filled with sorrow at the sudden passing of John. He was a great friend and family man. We always had a great time with John because of his fun loving attitude and sense of humour. Words can't express the deep sorrow we feel about John's passing. Anyone who new John in life is richer for knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was truly one of the GOOD guys.

Beth, Greta and family,
I have so many great memories of your dad.
The times we spent at the cottage and him trying to teach me to waterski. He had such passion for life and was so caring.
We are praying for you and your family that God will provide that comfort and support.

There's not much we can say or do to lessen your grief, shock, or ease the burden with John's sudden passing. Although separated from you in distance, we are with you in spirit and miss him. We hope that we can balance our sadness by reflecting on and keeping alive the good times and memories we share.
