Obituary of William Paulishak

Paulishak, William (Bill) †" Left us peacefully on April 10th, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 92nd year. Beloved husband to Jean for 54 years. Dear father to Marlene Andrews of Mississauga and Lorrie and Mark O†™Neil of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Loving Papa to Jeffery O†™Neil (London, U.K.). Survived by one sister in Calgary and predeceased by two brothers and 2 sisters. Bill was a devoted member of St. Denis Church and a proud Canadian veteran of WW II in Europe. Upon his return Bill worked at GM for 34 years as a member of CAW Local 199 before retiring in 1980. He is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until 10:00 am Monday. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be recited during the evening session on Sunday at 8 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Denis Church on Monday at 10:30 am, to be followed by Rite of Committal at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial remembrances to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. His Spirit lives on in all of us and will continue to shine brightly forever.
