Lefrancois, Gerard (Gerry)
On Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at St. Catharines General Hospital in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Carmel, dear father of Garry and his wife Patricia, Laverne Lefrancois, Karen Ann and her husband Garry Hill, Bryan and his wife Jennifer. Loving Grandpa of 9 Grandchildren and predeceased by 2 grandchildren, Jenny and Darren. Also survived by 3 sisters and predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Mr. Lefrancois was a member of St. Alfred's Church. He was a past member of St. Denis Church and had been an usher there for many years, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1394 and the Msgr. Morris Assembly of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and had worked as a Crane Operator at Ontario Paper Mill before retiring in 1987.
Mr. Lefrancois is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. Visiting Hours Wednesday 6:30-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers for Gerry will be celebrated in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Memorial Remembrances can be made to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association or Kidney Foundation.
