Obituary of Ralph Burman
BURMAN Ralph Joseph - Peacefully at home on Sunday March 23, 2008 surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife Myrel (2001) of 57 years. Ralph will be greatly missed by his wife Ruth Kennedy Burman and his children Marilyn (Graham Love), Paul (Sandi) and Beverly. Beloved grandfather of Christopher Love, Lane (Jessica) and Jordan(Jason Lakatos). Great grandfather of Kailey, Mya, Mazie and Sophie. Predeceased by his parents Daisy (Cunningham), father Clarence, brothers Harold, Reginald, Howard and sister Helen (Brown). Ralph served overseas in the RCAF during the 2nd World War. He was owner and president of E.H. Ferree Company Ltd. of Niagara Falls and a member of the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club for over 50 years. Ralph and his family would like to thank the Juravinski Cancer Centre, CCAC of Niagara, Wecare Home Health Services and Dr. Sandra Hartman for their kindness and wonderful care. Arrangements entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines 905-937-4444. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Julia Church, 251 Glenridge Ave., on Thursday March 26, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation.
