Obituary of Paula Marie MacArthur
MacARTHUR, Paula It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Paula Marie MacArthur on March 16, 2008 in her 34th year. Loving wife of Scott and special Mommy to Marissa and Dylan. Daughter of Maria and Roger Charles and sister to Samantha and Roger. Special Auntie to Kelsey and Victoria. Daughter-in-law to Jane and Doug MacArthur. Loving granddaughter of Angela Lesson. Cherished niece of Aunt Anna Young (Lloyd), Uncle George Leeson, Uncle Tony Leeson (Sandra), Aunt Iris Gear (Jack) of England and Uncle Terry Charles (Coral) of Georgetown. Paula will be fondly remembered by many cousins both here and in England. Paula was an active and reputed member with her role on the Catholic School Board of Our Lady Fatima School. Paula acted as co-chair of the Catholic School Council. Paula battled long and hard and even in the end wasn't ready to quit! Nothing meant more to Paula than her husband and children - her proudest achievement. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday March 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday March 25 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to a trust fund for Marissa and Dylan, or the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
