Obituary of Donald William Larmet Sr.

LARMET, Donald William After a short battle with cancer, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 66. Much loved father of Kelly (Pat) Nugent , Donald Jr. (Christine), Tina (Rob) Vanstone and Rhonda Larmet. Cherished grandfather of Ashlee, Rae Dawn, Dylan, Jenna and Liam. Also survived by his sisters Edna Deguire, Vera Cameron, Phyllis (Bob Bluett) Carman and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents William and Evelyn and his siblings Fred, Lillian, Lawrence and Maude. Donald was devoted to his family and worked for over 45 years with Canada Bread. His hobbies included fishing, watching the races every Saturday at Merrittville Speedway and bingo. Donald's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, March 6th from 2-4pm . A funeral service to celebrate his life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:30pm. In accordance with his wishes , cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
