Obituary of Robert Marquis

MARQUIS, Robert Byron Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Shaver on Saturday, February 23, 2008 in his 87th year. Loving husband of the late Gloria (1992). Proud father of Paul, Gord, Hugh (Jan Bechard), and Judy (Richardson), grandfather of Rob Richardson (Deb), Dylan, Amy Rooney (Dan), Tim, Ben and Julie and great grandfather of Olivia. Born May 21, 1921 in Campbellton, New Brunswick. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family is grateful to the nurses on 2 West, Sister Louise, and all associated with Hotel DIeu Shaver for their many acts of kindness and compassion. Visitors will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, February 27 2008 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the George Darte Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hotel Dieu Shaver would be appreciated by the family.
