Obituary of Stanley Walter Holomego
HOLOMEGO, Stanley (Stan)- Passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital- I.C.U. , on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, in his 69th year. Stan will be missed by his brother Michael (Ida) of Thunder Bay, and by his special devoted caring sister Elsie (Elsa). Loving nephew of Mary Bemben. Special uncle to his nieces and nephews, Diane (Frank), Laurie (Bill), Tom (Judie) and their families. Stan is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Stan will always be fondly remembered especially by his dear friend Julio DiFilippo, and numerous friends from the Trans Canada Pipe Line, who were all supportive and comforting during Stan's recent illness. Predeceased by his parents Alexander (1971) and Caroline (1997), also by his brother Joseph (1977). Mr. Holomego is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. A public visitation will be held on Friday, February 29, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral liturgy without mass will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 01, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
