LANGLOIS GERARD FRANCIS (Gerry) Passed peacefully on Sunday February 24, 2008 at his home in St. Catharines. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Kay) Jones for over 58 years. Loving father of Wendy (Blaine) Sloat of Waterloo, Ann (Stephen) Middleton of Vineland, Paulette (Al) Langlois of Dundas and Peter (Kathy) Langlois of Brantford. Cherished grandfather of Etienne (Heidi) Middleton of Toronto, Sarah (Sebastian) Oort of St. Catharines, Andrea (Paul) Kalika of Dundas, Melissa Livesey of Dundas, Allison and Paul Langlois of Brantford, great grand father of Lucy and Maxwell Oort of St. Catharines, Kurt Middleton of Toronto. Also survived by brothers Marcel (Denise) of Montreal, Andre of South Africa and sister Estelle of Albany NY. predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Gerry was born in Magog, Quebec on November 18, 1919. He served i nthe army in WWII serving in England, Holland, Belgium and Germany. Returning to Canada in 1946 he attended Trade School, became a Plumber and worked as a Steamfitter/Plumber until his reirement. For many years Gerry was a member of Christ Anglican Church and is now a member of Church of the Transfiguration where a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday March 1st at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday February 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Many thanks for the support of family and friends.
