Obituary of Carolina Reis

Reis, Carolina - On Thursday February 21 2008 after a tragic car accident in Niagara-on-the-Lake at 17 years of age. Beloved and cherished daughter to Claudia Konzelmann-Reis and Bruno Reis. Lovingly remembered by her brother Fabian. Survived by her Omi and Opa Gudrun and Herbert Konzelmann of Niagara-on-the-Lake and her Omi Doris Reis and Erich Meister of Germany. Also survived by her great grandmother Trudel Huebner and Herta Uhlenberg of Germany, aunt Uli (Jim) Reschke and cousins Mikaela, Lauren and Ty of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Predeceased by her uncle Matthias Konzelmann (1998), and Opa Bruno (1990). Carolina was a "social butterfly" who was an honest, loyal and motivated person towards her family and friends. She loved to work out, shop and had a passion in life for skating. Carolina always enjoyed spending time with her family on their vacations together. She had a very special bond with her mom. Carolina was in her graduating year at Holy Cross Secondary School. Carolina's friends may pay their respects at the George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton St. on Sunday from 1-4 & 6-9 pm. There will be a public visitation from 10:00am- 10:40am at the Central Gospel Temple on Monday. A funeral ceremony to celebrate Carolina's life will be held on Monday at 11am in Central Gospel Temple, 240 Scott Street. Interment will take place at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. Carolina, you were a beautiful gift and we could not have asked for a better daughter. Everyday was a blessing for those around you. .... Carolina and Brittany are now with the Lord.
