Obituary of Bernie Hugh Olm Jr.

OLM, Bernie Jr.-Suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, February 19th at the young age of 24. Cherished son of Bernie Sr. and Karen, and much loved brother of Justin. Devoted soulmate of Jessica Fitzgerald for the past 7 years. Treasured grandson of Bill and Doreen Hanna, Pat and Dave Konig and Hugh Olm. Also survived by his many aunts, uncles and cousins-here and overseas. He will also be missed by Jessica's family, his half brother Joey Breen, and his many friends and coworkers. Bernie Jr. spent his entire youth with the Merritton Athletic Association where he was very active in hockey and baseball.Bernie Jr's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, February 24th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, February 25th at Carlton United Church, 527 Carlton Street at 10am. Burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. If desired, memorial donations to the Merritton Athletic Association-in Bernie Jrs. name, to create a fund to assist less fortunate children in the community to participate in sports would be appreciated.
