Obituary of Shirley Louise Baines

BAINES, Shirley (Atkinson) Passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, February 20th, 2008 in her 67th year. Shirley, loving wife of Wallace Baines, devoted mother of John, Brian and his wife Shelly, Karen and her husband Mike and grand-daughter Jessica. Predeceased by her parents Myrtle and Jack Atkinson. Shirley was a deeply loving wife and mother who took enormous pleasure in her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Shirley was a founding member of the Port Dalhousie Boxing Club Inc as the Secretary/Treasurer. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Shirley's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, February, 25th from 10am-10:45am. A memorial service to celebrate her life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Inurnment will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
