Obituary of George Peresta

Peresta, George Suddenly on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at St. Catharines General Hospital in his 83rd year. Beloved husband Irene (Elaine) for 50 years, father of Patricia Ann McCarthy, Linda Diane (Bill) Sowrey, grandfather of Brian (Victoria) and Corey, great grandfather of Reagan and Danyka, brother-in-law of Madeliene and Steve Boyuk, uncle of Marlene, Kathy, Elaine and Tammy, great uncle of Tara, Tommy and Stephen. Mr. Peresta had worked at General Motors for over 25 years before retiring, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Polish Branch. George was an avid Pool Player and gardener.
