Obituary of Geraldine Beverly Corbett

CORBETT, Geraldine Beverly "Bev" - Surrounded by her loving family, Beverly passed away at her home, on Thursday, February 14, 2008, at the age of 82. Precious wife and best friend of 64 years of Robert. Dearest Mom of Robert (Darlene), Linda (John) Uronick, Bill (Donna), Irene (Ken), Ken (Donna), and Joanne (Bob) Heritz. Treasured Nana of Kara, Laura, Mike, Christine, Jennifer, Hilary, Ken, Margaret, Rick and Jamie. Great Nana Beverly to Lucas. Dear sister of Lillian Brix and Ruby Armitage of St. Catharines. Predeceased by her dear son James (1994). Bev spent much of her spare time volunteering with Careline, March of Dimes, Community Care, The Children's Centre, Hospice Niagara, Out of the Cold, and more than 35 years with Family and Children Services. Bev was also an Amateur Radio Operator for 15 years. In accordance with Beverly's wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service in celebration of Bev's life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. Public visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Hospice Niagara or Dr. Sandra Hartman Palliative Care.
