We just found out yesterday (April 25 2011) that Annie is no longer with us, so, I searched and found this site.
Mom's been in a nursing home for over 2 years, and Dad died last June, so we didn't know about Annie's death.
Our thoughts are with you both Sue & Rose. Annie always made us laugh and feel good. She was a wonderful neighbour & friend.
Take care,
Linda

Rose & Sue, I don't know where to begin other than to say that this world has lost a wonderful person. I can't help but review the many happy memories that I have of the time spent with my Aunt Annie. We always shared a special relationship. My only regret is that I haven't seen much of her in the past few years. She always touched base with mom and us through the years and it will be those phone calls that will be missed most. She truly is one of a kind and will never be able to be replaced. May you both know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers and if there is anything we can do for either of you please call. Rose your mother was blessed to have such a wonderful and caring daughter as you are. You were her rock for many years. I know first hand the bond you shared with your mother and for that we are blessed. I only hope that you will find the strength in your faith to see you through this difficult time. Annie I will always miss you and your colorful personality....You now are the brightest star watching over us
Lots of Love

Your Mother has touched the lives of so many in such a wonderful way. Rose,I will fondly remember our one trip to Port Dalousie and the carousel with my kids and your Mom. She was wonderful to my children and had an awesome gift to make people laugh. God knows I shed a few tears of laughter in her presence.I was definately blessed to have known her and I envy the people who knew her so much better than I did.I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you and Sue and I know you will treasure every moment you had with her.I truly believe there is no greater friend than a MOM. My sincere condolences once again,
Katie
