Kyle, Frances GertrudePeacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday February 1, 2008 in her 87th year.Beloved wife of the late William (Liv) and loving mother of Christine (Stewart) Thoms, Catherine (Mike) McGinnis, Helen (Nick) Vaccaro, Bill (Donna), Thomas (Heather), and Gregory (Lisa). Dearest gram of Michelle, Joseph, Frances, Anthony, Christine, Sarah, Matthew, Lindsay and great gramma of Michael, Courtney, Nicholas, Emma, Jack and Evan- Patrick. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by brothers and sisters Austin Howe, Joseph Howe, Martin Howe, Cecelia Howe, Margaret Rountree, Catherine Parkins, Agnes Upper, Lillian Wilson and Helen Carnegie. "To the world she was a women, to us she was the world". Frances's family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Star of the Sea Church 34 Elgin Street Port Dalhousie on Tuesday February 5, 2008 at 11 am. Vigil prayers will be said at the funeral home Monday at 3 pm. Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Star of the Sea Church.
