Obituary of Steve Romanowsky

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Steve Romanowsky on January 13, 2008. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose. Loving father of Joan Peach (Ron) of Normandale and Robert (Darlene) of St. Davids. Cherished grandfather of Suzanne Dougherty (Kevin), Michael Giletchuk (Liz), Bradley Giletchuk, Robyn Stewart (Brad) and great grandfather of Laura and Jordan Dougherty. Also survived by his brother Joe Romanowski and sisters Mary Horhota and Stephanie Code (Wayne), and sister-in-law Marion Romanowsky. Steve will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Steve is predeceased by his brother Nick, brother-in-law Bill Horhota and sister-in-law Nina Romanowski. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday January 15, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Steve's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday January 16 at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will occur in Delhi on Thursday. Donations may be made to Hotel Dieu Shaver Rehab Centre or Pleasant Manor Retirement Village.
