Obituary of Martha Hildegard Hitchen

Hitchen, MarthaPassed away peacefully at Linhaven Home For The Aged surrounded by her family on Wednesday January 2, 2008 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of William (Bill) for 62 years and loving mother of Dianne, Shirley (Howie) and Kevin (Edith Ann). She will be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Words alone cannot express the graditude our family shares for the nursing staff at Linhaven for the care and compassion they lovingly provided to Mom and our family during her stay. Martha's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Martha's life will take place in St. Columba Anglican Church 7 St. Columba Drive St. Catharines on Wednesday January 9, 2008 at 11 am. Cremation has taken place.
