Obituary of Dainteary Fersilla Johnston

JOHNSTON, Dainteary F. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27th, 2007 at the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Rehab at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband Leighton (1986) and her daughter Audrey. Cherished mother of Mona (Tom) Mitchell, Karen (George) Cooper and Linda. Much loved Nana of Cathie (James), Jennifer (John), Sheila (Mike), Dalton (Ann), Paul (Pauline)and Debbie (John), and her many great grandchildren. Also survived by her many church friends. She enjoyed her church family and spent much time with her 2 dogs. Dainteary's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Sunday, December 30th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, December 31st at 11am. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
