Obituary of Margarete Ficko

FICKO, Margarete Passed away suddenly on Friday, December 14th at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Alois (1970). Much loved and devoted mother to her two sons Peter (Mary) and Paul. Also survived by her many family members in Austria and Canada. Mrs. Ficko's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, December 18th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 169 St. Paul Crescent, St. Catharines on Wednesday, December 19th at 11 am. Rite of Committal Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers for Mrs. Ficko will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:30pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
