Obituary of Edward Joseph Madden
Madden, Eddie - Dearly beloved husband of Henny for 60 years. He passed away peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital, with his family at his side, on December 4, 2007, in his 89th year. Eddie was born in Liverpool England. He will be so sadly missed by two very loving sons. Bernie and his wife Jo Ann of St. Catharines, and Ted and his wife Linda of Michigan. Loving grandfather (Pop) of five grandchildren. Edward and his wife Carin of Burlington. Tammy and her husband Doug of Niagara Falls. Geoffrey and his wife Doreen of St. Catharines. Tod and his wife Melanie of Mississauga. Christine, also of Mississauga.Loving great grandfather (Pop) of nine. Evan, Emily, Elizabeth, Fox, Jack, Breanna, Ryan, Justin and Danielle. One brother Barney, nephew John (Caroline) and great nephew Charlie and great niece Amy, and nieces Davina and Heather (Martin) - all in England. Loving sister in law Angela (Rudy) in Germany. Brother in law Siegfried (Ilona), one niece and three nephews all in Germany. Predeceased by his sisters Molly, Irene, and brother Jack and sister in law Rene and brother in law Norman. Eddie was a veteran for seven years in World War Two. He was a long time volunteer and a member for twenty years at the Dunlop Drive Senior Association. Eddie is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. Public visitation will be held on Friday at 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A chapel service will take place on Saturday December 9th, 2007 at 9am. Cremation will follow. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Eddie's family.
