Obituary of Peter Kooger

KOOGER, Peter On Saturday, December 1st, 2007, Peter went to be with the Lord as the result of a tragic accident at the age 58. Much loved husband of Lori and devoted and cherished father of Thomas, Samuel and Adam. Loving son in law of Norman and Pat Brown. Also survived by his brothers Dick (Claudia), Joe (Lorraine), Martin (Laura) and John, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters and one brother. Peter loved his children with all his heart and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a hard worker, very dedicated to his job and was always happy to help others. Peter's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, December 6th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, December 7th at the Niagara Worship Centre, 6846 Frederica Street, Niagara Falls, at 11am with visitation at the church 1 hour prior to service time. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to a trust fund for Peter's children would be appreciated by the family with information available through the funeral home.
