Hello, we do not know each other but I am writing to you in regards of the loss of your dear family member, Carla Pawlik. I would like to send my deepest sympathy. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love and it can be most difficult to bear.
The Bible, however, holds out a wonderful hope. The Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future right here on earth †" Psalms 37:11. Although this is a time of sadness, I would like to direct you to some encouraging and comforting information that can be shared amongst you and your family. A sample of it is contained on the online brochure "When Someone You Love Dies" found at:

Mike & Allison's Stag & Doe
My most recent vivid memory of Carla was at Mike & Allison's Stag & Doe. I sat down to talk with Carla as we had not seen each other for quite some time. We had the greatest time laughing & joking and it was the way I will always remember her. Even at all the birthdays we were always able to talk and we had a way of understanding each other in so many ways. I will miss seeing her even though it was infrequently. Rest well now Carla!

Happy memories
I can still remember putting on performances for the family when we were young.
We would always sing "Cherish" and "Windy" by the Association. We had all the hand movements and we coordinated our steps. Such "little performers" were we. Although
we were laughing and giggling we took ourselves pretty seriously. You were so caring when Bonnie died and I will always be grateful to you for that. I will miss you, my dear sweet cousin but I know you are with your dad and son and they are hugging you ever so dearly.
Sleep well, dear Carla. I will love you always.

Dear Stella, Lucia, Janek and family: My deepest sympathy for your great loss. I can't even begin to know your heartache. You have been brave, loving souls for many years. Carla is an amazing soul who lost her way through loving heartaches, but valiantly tried to fight her way back. I have chosen this quote by 'Mother Teresa' especially for Carla:
"Let us be very sincere in our dealings with each other and have the courage to accept each other as we are. See and find in each other the good, for each one of us is created in the image of God."
Love and great admiration, Judy, Laura and Sarah Rotz.

Our Deepest Condolences to the Pawlik family.
We knew Carla through my best friend, Skeeter. We spent many hours in our backyard hot tub, telling stories & listening to Oldies songs. Carla was a good friend.
May she rest in peace.

I worked with Carla and her Aunt Jenny at the Lincoln Theatre in St. Catharines. I have fond memories of "Crazy Carla" working behind the concession stand popping popcorn, slinging soda and throwing Nibs! We spent many hours laughing and playing practical jokes. Her Aunt Jenny was a warm, caring and classy lady who probably looked the other way when we were up to our old tricks. I'm smiling as I write this-thinking about how much fun we had and what a character Carla was. She was full of life and a true blue friend, she will be sadly missed.
My sincerely condolences to Carla's family and extended family. I hope your memories of Carla help to comfort you as well.
Sincerely,
Cindy Andrews (Boutilier)
