Carbonara, Antonietta Peacefully at home loved and cared by her family and friends on Thursday November 22, 2007 in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Stefano (2006) for 69 years. Predeceased by her son Andy (1993) and grandson Steven (Julie) Carbonara (1993). Dear mother to Maria (Felice) Biancaniello and Josie (Vern) Dell and mother-in-law to Alma Carbonara. Proud grandmother to Peter (Kathy) Carbonara, Lisa (Rick) Sauve, Joey (Edna) Carbonara, Christina Carbonara, Mike (Melanie) Biancaniello, Roseanne (Kurt) Dollinger, Steven (Tamara) Biancaniello,David (Gillian) Biancaniello, Christopher (Susan) Dell, Jason (Christine) Dell, Daniel and Jenny Dell. Great nonna will be sadly missed by Alexandria, Stephanie, Michael, Andrew, Carly, Sarah, David, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Felicia, Matthew, Mia, Leo, Conner, Emma, Chessa, Jacob and Serafina. Antonietta was born in Nusco, Italy. In 1953 she immigrated to St. Catharines where she worked at the Hotel Dieu Hospital and Pasta Di Casa for many years. She was a member of St. Alfred's Church and choir at St. Alfred's. A special thanks to the girls at the Red Cross and Charlene from the St. Elizabeth's Health Care. Antonietta's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Saturday 7-9pm. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be said at the funeral home on Sunday at 3 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street on Monday November 26, 2007 at 11 am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Society, St. Alfred's Church- Out of the Cold Program or St. Vincent De Paul.
