Obituary of Conrad Wohlers

Wohlers, Conrad Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2007, in his 87th year. Beloved husband for 53 years to Doris. Loving father to Sylvia (George) McCord of Toronto. Cherished Opa to Sam and Gillian. Conrad came to Canada from Germany in 1952. He worked for General Motors for over 20 years retiring in 1986. He was a very dedicated and founding member of Club Heidelberg in St. Catharines. His fun loving and generous nature was a gift to all who knew him. Mr. Wohlers' family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A celebration of Conrad's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 12 p.m. Cremation to follow service. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of Ontario.
