Farr, Joan Margaret After a long and persistent struggle with cancer, Joan died in the early morning of Monday, November 12, 2007 at Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Clifford James Farr (1989), loving mother of the late Susan Elizabeth Farr (2007), Kathleen Anne (Paul) Spencer, the late Thomas James (Linda) Farr (1999), dear Gramma of Aimee Kirsten Whyte (Jerry) Solomon, Ashleigh Kristen Whyte, Colin Clifford Spencer, Lindsay Mae, Katie Lynn, Stephanie Anne Farr and great Nana of Alec Forrest Solomon. Dear daughter of the late Wilfred and Doris Rogers, and sister of Doreen (the late Dennis) Tyson, Edith (the late William) Farr, the late Wilfred (Mary) Rogers, Eileen (John) Evitts. Dear daughter-in-law of the late Myrle and Nellie Farr, and sister-in-law of the late Jean (Howard) Myers, the late Raymond Farr, the late Helen (John) Davidson, Norma and Bob Cameron, the late Doris (Fred) Wherry, Shirley (the late Robert) Cairns, Ruth (Claude) Ames, Joan (the late William) Milne, Lois (John) Golob, Eleanor (the late Lloyd) Reid, the late Larry (Mary) Farr and Douglas (Elizabeth) Farr. Will be remembered by her longtime friends James and Ann Brown and Marilyn McCardle. Joan devoted most of her life to the successful operation of Farr Drainage and she will always be remembered. Cremation has taken place. Joan's family will receive friends at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. on Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 1-4 p.m. A Private service will be held at a later time. Memorial Remembrances can be made to Niagara Health System Foundation, Hospice Niagara or charity of your choice.
