Dear Janet & family, Please accept our condolences on the passing of your loved daughter, sister, etc.. She fought the good fight; she was an inspiration. We know that parents aren't supposed to outlive their children, but obviously God had other plans for Suzanne, not only here on earth, but perhaps in heaven also. Suzanne and I studied Theology at the same time and enjoyed good conversation and laughs at the annual Chaplaincy conferences. She was a great chaplain and I will remember her for her courage and advocacy and as a woman who laughed out loud, needed to right wrongs, and just had a thoughtful and gracious manner. I will miss Suzanne and I am encouraged, by her actions, to make a difference. Please accept my sympathy in your time of sorrow. Suzanne ~ God's work of art. Eph. 2:10

Dear Aucoin Family:
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Suzanne. We had the privilege of knowing Suzanne through the Colon Cancer Resource Action Network. She reached out to help Peter navigate this devastating disease and even so close to her own mortality emailed words of support and encouragement to us just 10 days ago. It is fitting she passed on Remembrance Day as she was a true hero in her battle...as we continue Peter's fight, sadly we are unable to attend her memorial on Friday but our thoughts and prayers are with you...she will never be forgotten.

Dear Aucoin Family
Please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences for the loss of your daughter and sister, Suzanne. It is with extreme sadness that we learn of Suzanne's passing.
Our family would like to express our sincere thanks to Suzanne and your family for having shared your cancer battle so publicly in an effort to help others. Suzanne was an Inspiration to us and to many other cancer families.
My husband Jim was diagnosed with colon cancer in October of 2002, he was 37 years old. He was a Police Officer with the Toronto Police force, brave, handsome and strong. And he was a wonderful father to our two children, Samantha and Matthew.
In the Fall of 2005 after many surgeries and much radiation and chemotherapy, we were invited to Queens Park to attend a cancer coalition session in which we would be granted the opportunity to present our life story in order to try and convince the Canadian Government to fund our next line of treatment - a drug FDA approved in Canada but not available here. We would learn of this young woman who had been declined based on her body type - we were unsure of what this meant ??? We researched this woman only to discover that she was so young and beautiful and full of life, and this became the beginning of our journey with your daughter and sister. We continued to follow your fight even after ours had ended.
We were overjoyed when the Canadian Government finally acknowledged that they were wrong in their decision, and your family was finally reimbursed for your costs. We knew though that the extra burden of having to have gone through this challenge must have been so overwhelming. We knew in our hearts that we were approved for funding because of the fight that Suzanne had endured.
To our family, Suzanne and your entire family and the friends who rallied around you were beyond remarkable. As a cancer family we had learned to live on "Hope" and "Miracles", you represented the Miracles that we as a cancer family had learned to live for.
We thank you Suzanne from the bottom of our heart for being so brave and such a wonderful Inspiration to all of us.
May God Bless you and your family,
With our deepest sympathy,
Christine, Samantha & Matthew Leslie

To the Aucoin family,
We had the priveledge of meeting Suzanne through my sister and neice Rosanna & Deanna Hunt. She was so full of life and happy each time I saw her, and I know has made a difference in so many others lives. We were lucky to have her as a guest for an Easter dinner at my parents many years ago & she was a joy to be around that day and so inspiring. Many that met her now will always have a guardian angel looking over them.
Our deepest sympathies to Suzanne's family and friends,
Sincerely,
Teresa & Ken Loney & family

Nature's first green is gold,
her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

My most heartfelt condolences to the Aucoin family and friends of Suzanne. Shannon-Marie Soni

I am terribly sorry to hear about suzanne's passing, and it was really hard for me to take the news. Everytime i walked through the halls of DM, i would see her face smiling at me, and she had this bright light in herself that gave her strength to do what she liked doing best. She was soo nice, had a good heart, and she enjoyed supporting others through good times and bad. But she fought very very very hard, and never gave up. She knew what was coming to her and she was prepared for it, and took action to fight it. Thats what made me feel proud of her. Not to mention all the fundraisers that she had to raise money for her treatments to help her fight the disease and keep her strength going was just an amazing thing and it was just a good thing she did to help herself.May God bless the aucoin family.

After all this time that Suzanne fought her battle, I somehow became immune to the idea that eventually it would end this way. She touched my life as a friend while we were in school, as a spiritual person with her choices in life and as an inspiration during her illness. Please don't ever think her time with us went unnoticed. You are in my thoughts and prayers and she will live on forever in the lessons I learned from her and in happier times. May God take you in his arms and cradle your path down this rough road.

Dear Janet & Family
We are saddened to hear of Suzanne's death and also of Norman's this past summer. We had planned on visiting you before moving to Nova Scotia but time didn't allow for it. I'm sure you are surrounded by lots of friends' and family's love. Don't be afraid to cry and mourn at your own speed. I'm sure Suzanne and Norman are looking over you.
She chose to live God's way and carried her cross so very well. I'm sure there will be many rewards. We will keep you in our prayers as we have done since we heard Suzanne was ill.
Anne & Eddie Joe Camus
