Obituary of Margaret May Oliver
OLIVER, Margaret May (Riley)
Left us on Sunday, September 23rd, 2007 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Frank (2002), she leaves behind her son Ron and wife Julie, her daughter Lynda and son-in-law Drew Tjernstrom and 2 grandsons, Ray and Jim.
Margaret was the eldest of 15 siblings and is survived by sisters Marion, Colleen, June and Eileen and brothers Tom, Ken and Allan.
Margaret's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, September 25th from 7-9pm. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 26th at 11am. Burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
The family wishes to thank the 2 West nursing staff at the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Health Centre for their compassion in making mother's final days as comfortable as possible. The family would also like to issue a special thank you to the staff of the Loyalist Retirement Residence for all their kindness and support during the past 5 years.
