Passed away with his family by his side, at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital, on September 18, 2007, at 82 years of age.Beloved husband of Maria (nee Baczynska). Loving father of Michael (Lydia) of Timmins, Peter (Chiara) of Hamilton, Anthony (Debbie) of Timmins and Anna (Ed) Caldwell of Welland. Special and cherished grandfather of Stephanie (Richard) Cooper, Paul (Amanda), Darren, Chad, Amanda, Dawn, Shannon, Mary Lou (Grant) Wall, Jason (Jessica). Great grandfather to Jordan, Quinlan, Madison, Hunter, Damian, Talon, Shieldon, Ashley and Justin. Also survived by his sister Maria of Belarus. Predeceased by his brother Leo of St. Catharines. Mr. Dubanow imigrated to Scotland in 1948, then to Canada in 1957, where he and his family settled in Timmins, Ontario. Paul worked in Hollinger Goldmine, later Kidd Creek Mine. After his retirement in 1987, Paul and his wife moved to St. Catharines.
In respect to Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place with no visition or service. Arrangements are enrtusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer Society. Thank you to the Canadian Red Cross, Alzheimer Society, Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital and St. Catharines General Hospital for care and assistance.
