Dear Jim,Michelle,Richard,Amy and families: My heartfelt and deepest sympathy is sent to you this day and much love on the passing of your mom and grandma. She was a very special woman.
Aunty Marg wasn't just an aunt to me she was my best friend and listening buddy. We called each other every week. She would complain about Uncle Charlie and I about the kids. We called it our vent call and kept saying one day we would get away from it all and go on a trip. Well she's on a beautiful trip now where ever she wanted to go, I think perhaps back to Hawaii. I also know she will enjoy playing bridge. Just before she passed she was feeling well one morning and she asked the patient in the bed next to her if she would like a game of bridge. The lady didn't know how to play though. I'm so glad Karlynn and Kyle were able to visit her in the hospital and after all the niceties, she said to Karlynn did you do the dishes, luckily for once she had and was able to answer with a smile yes. Or boy she would have been told off. Kyle was lucky she didn't ask if he had picked up his clothes or that would have been a different story. I hadn't told him yet that Auntie Marg said if their not picked up to throw them out the door on the front lawn. She would have and I still might. lol Aunty Marg was a strong and determined woman and liked things neat and tidy and she would tell you that. She had the cleanest cottage on the lake I would think, no towels on the porch. This was a very strict rule. Even though she had her rules she had a heart of gold. Never forgot a birthday, loved cats and dogs too, but especially the birds and the loons. Flowers would just bloom for her, she never needed a green thumb. One day we had a baby raccoon caught in the outhouse door, we put the kid's who were just little in the double stroller, then she fed the raccoon while I maneuvered the paw out. Do you know I think that raccoon followed her home. The deer weren't afraid of her back door either and once in awhile would visit. Kushog lake won't be the same without her or the boat races. Many times the Denham paddle boat was in the race. Yes a strong and kind woman will be sadly missed by many. Thursday at the hairdressers too, her hair was so fine and the stories she would tell. Now may every curl and wave look beautiful. Rest in peace my dear Aunt. You were always beautiful to me and shall always be in my heart and never forgotten. LOVE, Sharron xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxooxxo
