Obituary of Anna Maria Verardo

VERARDO, Anna Maria (nee Mucignat)Passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, June 10th, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Luciano. Cherished mother of Licia (Allan), Dilva (Edgar) and Andy. Special grandmother of Monica, Cameron and Jerrod. Sister of Lilianna, Rosie and Luciano.For many years Anna Maria was an active member of Club Roma and participated in Club Roma and St. Alfred's Church bingo. She loved her flower gardens.Anna Maria is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4p.m.& 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday at 9:30a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Osteoporosis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
