Obituary of Jenny Frances Halamay

HALAMAY, Jenny With great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful lady on April 24th, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS in her 84th year. Loving wife and best friend for 64 years to Jaroslav "Jerry", loving mother to Tom (Brenda) Halamay, Jim Halamay, and Cathy (Paul) Hesch. Devoted grandmother to Dana, Trisha-Lee and Devin Halamay, and Hannah Hesch. Predeceased by her parents Walter and Mary, sister Anne (Bruce) and her eldest son. She will be missed beyond words by all who knew her. A huge thank you for the respectful and compassionate care provided to Jenny at the SCGH-NHS. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, May 2nd at 74 Lakeshore Road, St. Catharines from 1-4pm. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family between these times. If desired, memorial donations to the Ontario Federation of Cerebral Palsy, Ontario March of Dimes or the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
