Daniel Russell Ellis November 6, 1952 - April 17, 2009 Dad lost his 3 year battle with cancer on Friday April 17, 2009. In loving memory of a beautiful husband to Colleen Ellis, outstanding and dedicated father to Wendy/Tim, Shelly, Yvonne/Jay, Megan. Loving grandfather to James, Daniel, Faith, Austin. Honourable son to Bill/Evelyn Ellis, Kathleen Jones and the late Clifford Jones. Caring brother to Jaquie, Bill, James, Judy, Ben, Ron, Carrie, Beverly. And considerate uncle and friend to many, you will be greatly missed. It's really sad to see you go What could have been we'll never know Gone to a place of safe and sound The love you've left is all around Your kiss, your touch, your warm embrace The kind smile and gentle face You'll always be missed, till we see you again My husband, my father, my son, my friend. At dads request he will be cremated so his spirit can soar across the Ocean. He also wished to only have a prayer service which will be held on Monday April 20 2009 at George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines at 2pm. As much as it hurts to see him go I hear that heaven is paradise. We love you dad!
