Mrs. Crane and family, I have been thinking about you. Hope all is well. She has been sadly missed. She taught her students right from wrong. I greatly appreciate the fact that I had the privilege to have Callie as my teacher for part of my grade 8 year. Still to this day, when I have troubles with questions on a test or homework, I look up to her for help. Rest in peace Callie Crane, forever and always.

It's been one year since you've been gone, but it feels like yesterday. You are in our thoughts every waking moment. Our hearts ache for you and we miss you so much. We long to see you walk through the door with your beautiful smile that stretched across your entire face. We long to hear your voice and your infectious laughter. Without you there is such a huge void in our lives. Our family will never be complete again. We will never forget you . In our eyes Callie, your were perfect. Mom and Dad will always be proud of you. You were a gift to us in every way. You accomplished so much and with so much grace. You gave a lasting memory to everyone who knew you. We see your image in your beautiful little girls whom you loved dearly. We love them as we loved you. We know you are watching over them and feeling very proud. We will never understand your pain and why we couldn't protect you. We are holding on to our precious memories and will love you forever Callie.

Wish you were here. You are in the hearts and minds of a lot of people. It is still very surreal even though 1 year has almost passed. I try to find a meaning for why this happened but I struggle. However I do know that you have taught me many things in life that go far beyond school lessons. I will never forget the times spent with you @ Clancy. When I think of you I will remember you as you would want.
Your family is in my thoughts.

When I think of Callie, or Louise, or any of your immediate family, it is in the context of very close, caring and connected individuals. This is what will help protect you from losing Callie. When I remember Callie, I remember a beautiful girl, with a very peaceful presence, smiling at me, and her mom. Mrs. Crane was an amazing teacher, we will never forget her. She always had the biggest smile on her face that would brighten up your day. She was a very kind person and would always help you if you were in need. Even though she didn't teach the most interesting subject, she somehow always found a way to make our history classes fun. She only taught us one subject, but she still seemed so much closer to us. We shared memories with Mrs. Crane that we will always remember. Like our grade 8 trip to SCOEP, when she was there to kill any ticks we found in our rooms!

To walk back into that hollow room.
Is now dark and full of gloom.
To always see your smiling face.
Monday morning I will walk at a slow pace.
The halls will be filled with silience hush.
We will walk tall and our memories will rush.
Our eyes will fill with grieving streams.
To hope that this was a horrible dream.
How can we imagine you not there.
Can we make it on that day or we will not bare.
As we sit in our seats.
Our aching hearts can not beat.
Grief is endless we feel each day.
A sense of loss that will not go away.
An empty room is what we fear.
As this day will soon appear.
We have not loss but gained a lot.
Your stories, your teaching we all sought.
A good-bye to our teacher.
We extend our arms out to reach her.
Thank-you for being who you are.
Your students will aim and go far.
A final farewell as we raise our graduations caps.
A salute to you as we raise our hands from our laps.
We send a big thank-you to you.

First of all, my sincere condolences to Callie Crane's family. Three of my children have had the privilege of having Ms. Crane as a homeroom teacher. I met her for the first time four years ago and was touched by her warm personality. She had an innocence about her. Even after four years, she would still ask me about my child in high school. At a recent parent/teacher interview, she showed her compassionate side, as another child of mine was going through some personal problems. She was a special teacher, who went above and beyond. Monsignor Clancy has truly lost a special person, who will be so sadly missed, but not forgotten. May God Bless her family, friends and students and give them strength to get through the difficult time ahead.......

I don't know where to start. I could talk about the wonderful smile she wore everywhere with her, making someone's day better. I could talk about the stool she sat on when she taught us. I could even talk about how great a teacher she was, making every lesson exciting and looking forward to. So many things I could say and so many wonderful memories we must cherish and never forget. Like the fact that she was the most organized Student Council Leader I remember.
We are so sad and will continue to be but we must remember that God has his own plan for each one of us. I can't imagine the wonderful things he has in store for Mrs. Crane.
It is all a part of life and sometimes we are unprepared. But as Mrs. Crane once put it, "remember to appreciate each day for all that life has to offer."
We will never forget you, Mrs. Crane. You will live in our hearts forever.

I express my deepest sympathies and condolences. I wish I could be there with you all, as we all do back here. I found a poem that is very comforting and I wish to share it with you guys. I hope it helps in some little way during this difficult time.
To my dearest family,
Some things I'd like to say
But first of all to let you know
That I arrived okay
I'm writing this from Heaven
Where I dwell with God above
Where there's no more tears or sadness
There is just eternal love
Please do not be unhappy
Just because I am out of sight
Remember that I am with you
Every morning, noon and night
That day I had to leave you
When my life on Earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me
And He said "I welcome you
It's good to have you back again
You were missed while you were gone
As for your dearest family
They'll be here later on
I need you here so badly
As part of My Big Plan
There's so much that we have to do
To help our mortal man"
Then God gave me a list of things
He wished for me to do
And foremost on that list of mine
Is to watch and care for you
And I will be beside you
Every day and week and year
And when you're sad I'm standing there
To wipe away the tears
And when you lie in bed at night
The day's chores put to flight
God and I are closest to you
In the middle of the night
When you think of my life on Earth
And all those loving years
Because you're only human
They are bound to bring you tears
But do not be afraid to cry
It does relieve the pain
Remember there would be no flowers
Unless there was some rain
I wish I could tell you
of all that God has planned
But if I were to tell you
You wouldn't understand
But one thing is for certain
Though my life on Earth is over
I am closer to you now
Than I ever was before
And to my very many friends
Trust God knows what is best
I'm still not far away from you
I'm just beyond the crest
There are rocky roads ahead of you
And many hills to climb
But together we can do it
Taking one day at a time
It was always my philosophy
And I'd like it for you too
That as you give unto the World
So the World will give to you
If you can help somebody
Who's in sorrow or in pain
Then you can say to God at night
My day was not in vain
And now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile
Knowing as I passed along the way
I made somebody smile
So if you meet somebody
Who is down and feeling low
Just lend a hand to pick him up
As on your way you go
When you are walking down the street
And you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind
And when you feel that gentle breeze
Or the wind upon your face
That's me giving you a great big hug
Or just a soft embrace
And when it's time for you to go
From that body to be free
Remember you're not going
You are coming here to me
And I will always love you
From that land way up above
We'll be in touch again soon
P.S. God sends His love
Thinking of you all,
Love Stacey, Meigan and Steve xox

I am heartbroken to hear of the tragic passing of Mrs. Crane, as I knew her. I will always remember her beautiful smile, and the way she wore her very own NY Rangers jersey, especially on Fridays. I give my condolences to all members of family; I know this must be an extremely difficult time. Please remember that Callie made a huge impact on each and every student, even if she didn't know it. If I could have one more moment with her, I would tell her how wonderful she was and thank her for being a part of my life. I know that God was somewhere behind my motivation to go back and see her this February, as I now sadly know it would be the last time.
I'm praying for all of you, she will be missed so much :(
sincerely a Former Student.

Louise:
I can't begin to know your pain - but our Heavenly Father knows! So often this hymn by Annie J. Flint has ministered to me - and now I give it to you.
He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength as our labors increase,
To added afflictions He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials He multiplies peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father's full giving is only begun.
Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision,
Our God ever yearns His resources to share;
Lean hard on the arm everlasting, availing;
The Father both thee and they load will upbear.
His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power has no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth , and giveth again.
I am praying for you!
Ruth Lamoureux
