Obituary of Antonio Di Marco

Di Marco, Antonio - On Thursday March 26, 2009 at the St.Catharines General Hospital in his 77th year. Devoted and loving husband of Ida for 46 years. Cherished father of Adelia Verone (Walter) and Danilo (Christine). Nonno of Tatiana, Antonio and Devon. Survived by his brothers Romeo (Franca), Nazzareno (Amalia); sisters Brunetta (Camillo), Laura (Gabriele) and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Adelia, brother Rocco and sister Adelina (Bruno). Mr. Di Marco is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street until 10:30am on Monday. Visiting hours are between 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Sunday. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30pm. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, on Monday at 11am. Entombment will follow the church service at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation in Antonio's memory.
