Obituary of Marian Andrew Zolnierczyk

Zolnierczyk, Marian Suddenly at his home on Sunday, March 22, 2009 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Annette. Loving father of Lynda (Bob) Lynch, Bob, Valdy (Denise), and Elisabeth (Larry) Brooks. Cherished grandpa of Jonathan, Kerilyn, Tracey, Kelley, Robby, Jason, Amanda, Dane and Melissa, great grandpa of Jade, Kaley, Tylor, Victoria, Aiden, Tyler, Joshua and Madison, step grandpa of Shayla, and Wesley. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Elisabeth, brothers Fred and Chris, sister Mary, and daughter in law April. Marian was a member and past president of the Polish Combatants Association and worked at Hayes Dana for more than 25 years. Mr. Zolnierczyk is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday March 25, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be said at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorial Remembrances can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
