Obituary of Fred Worobel

Worobel, Fred: Born in Saskatchewan on October 15, 1931; passed away on Thursday March 19, 2009 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital, in his 78th year. Loving father of Kevin, Diane Howes (Lee), and Stephen. Cherished grandpa of Alison and Liam Howes. Fred is survived by sisters Anne Shallip, and Mary Kempson (George), and brother Walter. Predeceased by his father Steve, and two brothers John and Matt. Fred retired from General Motors and was a long time member of the C.A.W. Local 199. Mr. Worobel is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. Friends may call on Sunday March 22, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday March 23, 2009 at St. Julia Church at 1 p.m. Memorial remembrances can be made to a charity of ones choice.
