Obituary of Georgious Kollaras

KOLLARAS, GEORGIOS- Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the Welland County General Hospital-NHS in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Angeliki for 59 years. Loving father of Toula (Tim) Klentos, Anastasia (Nick) Kazakos and Ted (Barbara). Georgios was a very proud and loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Kollaras' family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Prayers will be held Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church, 585 Niagara St., on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 11 am. Burial to follow service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.
