I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Mr. Clime as a very young child of about 4. His first store on Niagara St. was rented from my grandfather. I still remember the big perch at the back of the store that you had to climb up the stairs to get to and the apothecary scales. My grandparents lived in the apartment upstairs and I would run down and get the newspaper from the front of the store and he would always smile and chuckle as I did. My family were regular customers at Niagara Drugs - he used to have a photographer come in
annually to take photos. We still have a series of pictures of my brother/me and various combinations with mom over all the years he offered that service. Niagara Drugs became known as THE pharmacy in St. Catharines- Mr. Clime being I think the first to offer home delivery. I will always remember your dad as a kind man to a young child and a well respected friend as he served our family for many years as our trusted pharmacist. I am very sorry for your loss.

We remember Dick as a good neighbour on Carn Castle Gate, a great pharmacist, and a good customer at More Than Tires. We will miss Dick and his dry humour and wonderful outlook on life. Our condolences go out to all the Climie family at this time of a great loss.

Hello, we do not know each other but I am writing to you in regards of the loss of your dear Richard Climie. I would like to send my deepest sympathy. Since I am not able to speak with you personally I felt that it was best to send a letter of condolence. I know how hard it is when someone loses a loved one. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love and it can be most difficult to bear.
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. The Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions, where they will never have to die again †" Psalm 37:10, 11. †œThe hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.† -John 5:28, 29. I hope these two scriptures will brighten your day.
Although this is a time of sadness, I would like to direct you to some encouraging and comforting information that can be shared amongst you and your family. A sample of it is in the brochure "When Someone You Love Dies" found at: http://www.watchtower.org/e/we/article_00.htm (Just click on the right arrow on that screen to continue reading the online brochure)
If your heart similarly yearns to see a loved one again, Jehovah†™s Witnesses will gladly assist you to learn how you can make this sure hope your very own. You are warmly invited to visit one of our local Kingdom Halls. There are no collections ever taken and you and your family are greatly welcomed.

To Mr. Climie's family - Mr. Climie will always have a special place in my heart. I worked at Niagara Big V soon after it took over Niagara Drugs. Mr. Climie knew nothing about me other than that I had just finished my first year of pharmacy. It was a tough summer to get a job. I walked in, introduced myself, and he hired me for the summer. I worked there every summer of university. He taught the art of pharmacy. He was extremely well respected by his colleagues and most importantly, his clients. May you celebrate his life.

I fondly remember Dick:
From myself as a youngster and a neighbor in the 1960's, on Goldsmith Ave, and as my pharmacist over the years.
As recent as this past Thursday,, while passing the "Niagara Apothecary",,
I mentioned to a guest about a swell fellow, named Dick Climie,
whom had made a strong wholesome impression upon myself,
and was a great host, at the "Old NOTL Apothecary".
I remember Dick, fondly and kindly, Erik Olesen.
