Obituary of Alexander Reid Buchan

BUCHAN, Alexander Peacefully and with his family by his side at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS on Thursday, February 26th at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Linda and much loved father of Julia (Lee) Taylor , Jeremy (Kellie), Malcolm (Stacey) and Andrew (Fiona). Loving Grandpa and Papa of Claire and Cameron Taylor, and Morgan, Amye, Tyler and Owen Buchan. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Lillian. Alexander was an avid supporter of Newcastle United Football Club. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and may be made at the funeral home or through the funeral home website.
