Obituary of Caroline Palka

PALKA, Caroline- On the morning of February 11, 2009, Caroline was called home into the arms of the Lord and Saviour to join her beloved husband John (2004). She is survived by her loving and devoted son Stan and his wife Jenny. She will be sadly missed by her treasured grandsons Christopher and dear friend Lucie and Stanleigh and his wife Linda. Born in Hamilton, Ontario and raised in Poland, Caroline returned to Canada as a teenager to live a full and happy life. She valued and appreciated her home, family, friends and neighbours. Memories of her cooking, baking and gardening will linger in minds of many. Caroline's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE CHAPEL, 585 Cartlon St., on Friday, February 13, from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be offered in the funeral home Friday evening at 7:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation- New Hospital Complex.
