Obituary of Theresa Lalonde

Lalonde, Theresa (nee: Kehoe): Peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital, on February 7, 2009, in her 80 th year. Beloved wife of Jerome Lalonde for more that 50 years. Loving mother of Christopher (Laurie Chesworth), Kenneth, (Michelle Woulfe), Lisa (John Woulfe), Michelle, (Andre Picard), Douglas, (Tasha Menary). Cherished grandmother of Peter, Riley, Lise, Zoe, Molly, Michael, Kieran, Emmet, Natalie, Anais, and Raphaelle. Predeceased by her parents William and Mary Kehoe, three brothers, Vincent, (Monica), Elmer (Late Kay), Gerald (Late Lucille), (Carol). Survived by two sisters Eileen Hendrik (late Frank), and sister Rita, and five brothers, James, (Doreen), Lewis, (Collette), Wilfrid, (Giselle), John, (Yolande), and Harold, (Raymonde). Theresa was a well loved, and respected teacher with the St. Catharines Separte Schoold Board until her retirement in 1992. She was an avid tennis player and volunteered for many charitable organizations, including Out of the Cold, Schizophrenia Society, Mental Health, and the CNIB. Friends may call on Tuesday February 10, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia's Church, 251 Glenridge Ave. St. Catharines on Wednesday February 11, 2009 at 12 p.m. Cremation to follow. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Memorial Remembrances can be made to the Alzheimer's Society, or the charity of ones choice.
