Obituary of Elizabeth Martz

MARTZ, Elizabeth (nee Reder) Gone to be with her Lord, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home on January 14th at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Albert for 51 years. Dear mother of Carin (Albert) Perez of St. Catharines and Conny (Charles) Hermelink of Thailand. Much loved Oma of grandchildren Stephanie Hastings, Michael Perez, and Peter and Karl Hermelink. Survived by sisters Margareth Huber of Iowa, Eva Menz (Juergen) of Germany. Predeceased by sister Magdalena (Adam) Mayer of Kitchener. Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her family, extended family and friends. Elizabeth's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St, on Sunday, January 18th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, January 19th, at 11:00 am at Calvary Church, 89 Scott St. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St Catharines General Hospital - Oncology, the Rankin Cancer Run or the PAOC-Charles Hermelink would be appreciated by the family.
