Obituary of Adam Biro

Biro, Adam Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, January 9, 2009, at Versa Care, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Anna for 70 loving years. Cherished father of Mary (Ivica) Mrezar, John (Pat), Elizabeth (Marijan) Ruzic, Vera Petrina and Bernadette (Marcello) Pontello. Adam will be lovingly remembered by his fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Loving brother of Anna (Toni) Nikolaus and Joseph. Adam is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son-in-law Tony Petrina. A special thank you to Deacon Frank Pavone, Dr. Luce and the staff at Versa Care for their compassion and care. Mr. Biro is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 2 p.m. -4 p.m. and 7 p.m. -9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home Monday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., on Tuesday, January 13 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Following the service Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
