BAKER, Edward Patrick Joseph - Passed away at his home on January 6, 2009 at the age of 68. "Number one son" of Julia Baker. Loving father of Cherie (Dean) Ellis, Heather, and Ken (Allyn) Baker. Cherished grandfather of Lucan, John, and Laura. Beloved brother of Leonard (Orion) Baker, Bride (Hugh) Mitchell, Kevin (Bridget), Tom (Carol), Jim (Theresa), Alice (Ray) Murphy, Patricia (John) Norman, Vince (Dot), and Judy (Robert) Drake of Newfoundland.. Edward was predeceased by his father Vincent (1977) and his sister Sister Mary Baker (1994). Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Saturday January 10, 2009 from 2 - 2:45 p.m. A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held in the chapel at 3 p.m. To honour Ed's wishes, inurnment will take place in Marystown, NFLD. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
